Not tonight, but tomorrow. And you don't have to be British to answer. I am going to what I hear is a more-or-less authentic British foodery tomorrow. Now, I know nothing of British cuisine. So, what sounds good? I feel like they don't quite offer everything, but oh well.
- Fish and Chips? I've had fried fish and potato fries, but apparently not very authentic fish and chips. Not quite fit for a dinner?
- Bangers & Mash? Which I understand is sausages and mashed potatoes? Also not fit for dinner?
- Shepherds Pie or Steak, Guinness & Mushroom Pie? They both sound good, but what sounds better?
- Stuff I won't get, probably: Chicken Tikka Masala, Fish Cakes, and anything with kidney or liver in it. Not a big offal fan. Won't eat it unless someone convinces me otherwise.
All I know for certain is that they have a British goods store next door and I'll be stocking up on my Walkers crisps and Vimto. Please advise!
