Tonight's most recent story on the Guardians of the Galaxy made me stop and think - I'm pretty sure I've seen headlines like that on this site before. Quite a lot, in fact!
A quick Google search shows me that if I am interested in stunning Guardians of the Galaxy concept art, I can also check out "stunning" concept art for NASA's 1970's vision for humanity in space, Ralph Bakshi's animated Lord of the Rings, Frozen, Paris in the year 2084, Star Trek Into Darkness, the movie version of Cloud Atlas's Seoul, Dead Space, and Stephen Spielberg's animated Cats movie that never happened.
If I get sick of stunning concept art, and I need more stunning things, I can check out these additional stunning stories all from 2014 (with many, many more available on Google) - I can lose my self in these stunning lunar maps, explore the ancient tradition of honey-hunting in Nepal, look at landscapes and starscapes in Kazakhstan, check out x-rays of the universe, look at a 3D-flyby of the Apollo 11 site, look at a sky map of 135 classic horror films, watch a stunning short by a master Disney animator, look at NSFW mermaid paintings, explore images of salt on an alien world, look at factory porn of aircraft assembly lines, images of hill forts from Britain's iron age, Karen Gillan as Nebula in Guardians of the Galaxy, or watch The Amazing Spiderman 2 trailer.
I am never without options to be stunned.
Io9, I love you. I read you every day! Would you take it the absolute wrong way if I bought you all thesauruses?
