This week on Face Off the super teams must create witch covens. One team is down a person. Can they find the magic within themselves to succeed?. Results ahead.
The contestants show up at the lab to find it tricked out with witchcraft trappings and McKenzie Westmore waiting to present the challenge. Each super team will create a coven of three witches or warlocks. Since the covens are at war each one will show the effects of a curse cast by the other coven.
The team of Emily, Tyler, and Logan start with a disadvantage since they have only three people as opposed to the other team’s four. They call their curse the Suffocating Sage of Willow. Each person tackles one design and the result is a trio of creatures who are distinctive but still with unifying elements. Tyler’s witch stands out as the judges’ favorite design and is the deciding factor that makes this team the Top Look this week.
Emily’s witch (on the left above) is good enough that in an ordinary season it would have probably been a Top Look but since this is an All-Star season it wasn’t fully up to par. If her team had been the Bottom Look she would have been the one going home.
The team of Cig, George, Ben, and Evan (aka the League of Manly Facial Hair) emphasize the rat aspect of their coven though their curse is called the Shadow of the Spiteful Serpent. The judges are impressed with the rat hands and other details. Again, in an ordinary season this would have been been a Top Look and someone, probably Cig, would have probably been given the win. But since they weren’t the Top Look one of them is going home instead. Ben, like Emily, produced a witch (on the right above) that for an All-Star season wasn’t up to par so he was eliminated this week.
And then there were six...
