Welcome to WednesdayBookClub, io9ers,. My name is Geesejuggler and I'm uber-, mega-tired so forgive the typos. Let's do this!!

So this past week, I finished The Blue Sword by Robin McKinley, which I totally understood better now than I did when I was 12 and I'm super excited about reading the Hero And The Crown again.

I also read The Lost Hero by Rick Riordan, the first in his The Heroes of Olympians series. I really appreciated how it feels more like Percy Jackson Expanded Universe with new characters and villains rather than just changing the name and it being the same series as the first. I'll be picking up the next book some time in the next week. ETA: If anyone who tells you that kids don't real anymore, that person is lying because there are like 25 copies of the next book in my city and only 5 aren't checked out. Dirty kids are stealing my books!! *Shakes fist*

What about you all? What have you read this week?

ETA: How come every time I post on the O-Deck something non-Book Club, only one person but then I do Book Club and I get 8 comments in 30 minutes? I see what I am to you all. I'm just a pretty picture of a library and book nerd to you all! *Goes into corner and makes another book fort*
