Plus, there are dwarves carrying random animals around for comedic effect. What more could you want?

Looks like the game will cover mainly the first film - although Tauriel and Legolas make an appearance leaping around firing arrows like the Elven BAMFs they are so Desolation of Smaug should show up - but depending on when it releases next year, it might just get to cover all three. It's continuing Lego LOTR's use of voice acting directly lifted from the films to tell the story, which I thought worked reasonably well that time round. The Hobbit itself probably has more opportunities for the silly physical comedy Lego games thrive on, so this should be a good 'un. Traveller's Tales/TT Games always seem to pull off keeping these games really entertaining titles despite the huge amount of them they've put out since the original Lego Star Wars.

Lego The Hobbit comes out next year on PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Wii U, Playstation Vita and 3DS. Hoo boy, that's a lot of platforms!
