Actually, neither dog "owner" nor "guardian" really applies to this guy, as he's pretty much the dumbest, most clueless and heartless person I've come across in a while with regard to the handling and treatment of man's best friend.
The photo shown is the guy in his white car driving away with dog in pursuit after trying to ditch the poor guy (Bronson) at a shelter without even bothering to fill out the paper work and have the dog secured.
His ludicrous attempt to explain why he went to the shelter in the first place:
I actually gave my dog a choice if he wanted to be with me or possibly find an owner he might feel better with," Sohn said.
Huh? (I believe that was also the dog's response.)
And when questioned about witnesses saying he actually hit his dog while trying to drive away:
"I didn't accidentally hit him," he said. "He jumped in front of my car but I felt he was triggered to do so as if, like, he was a mechanism of the surrounding people."
Mechanism of the surrounding people? WTF does that mean?
I very much suggest watching the interview video with this guy from the original news source to get the full impact of what a compassionate genius this guy is. I'm hoping a poster of this guy is plastered at all shelters with a "DO NOT ADOPT TO" warning. I wonder how long it took him to put on his pants that day.
I dedicate Bob Dylan's "Idiot Wind" to Daniel Sohn:
Idiot wind blowing every time your move your mouth
Blowing down the backroads heading south
Idiot wind blowing every time you move your teeth
You're an idiot babe
It's a wonder that you still know how to breathe
Daniel Sohn has been cited for animal cruelty and neglect. Sohn also stated the last time he saw the dog was when Bronson jumped out of the car during a trip to Los Angeles.
