Independant comics publishers don’t get a lot of love, so I thought I’d share some good stuff. While I’m not the biggest comics reader these, I do have my list (which is very short) that I cannot go with out. But here are some new stories from a publisher I’m hearing more and more about. Here’s the AfterShock site if you’re curious about their stuff. ONe that has gotten some good press is Alters:
From a diverse team of creators composed of differing genders, gender identities, ethnic backgrounds and sexual orientations comes a groundbreaking first-ever superhero series with a central transgender protagonist created by a mainstream writer.
And these are a few new comics coming out in April that I’m interested in. Interested? Shit, I’ll be picking these up, fo sho!

Eleanor & The Egret And World Reader are looking supercool to me. Can’t wait.
Fpr the record: I have NO affiliation with this comics publisher. I’m only interested in passing the word along for stuff other than the big 2.
