(though not entirely all packed up like I hoped), what did everybody buy this year? Did you get something nice? Did you get good deals at clearance sales?

I didn't find any of these on sale

but I did get a bunch of yellow and green ones.

What do you guys think of the example of the cat face? That's wrong, right? Is it okay to use these to make a cat, or should I keep looking for something else?

And I got one of these, though I'm not sure it has much to do with Halloween.

Is it better for National Talk Like A Pirate Day?

I also have cookie pans of bones and some little monster heads. And I have a ghost cake pan and two different pumpkin cake pans.

I few years ago I thought I had all the Halloween stuff I could possibly want, but somehow I always seem to find something else I would want if it just didn't cost so much. This year I bought the upper half of a skeleton. It has straps, and it's supposed to be part of costume, but I'll probably take the straps off and just use it as a decoration. The joints don't move the way I wanted, but it looks good, and I got it for just over ten dollars (original price was $35).

And then, in addition to stuff that I want, I have a niece and nephew to buy stuff for. So now I buy them lots of costumes. They can't wear them all for Halloween, but I figure that they will just like playing with them the rest of the year. And this year it occurred to me that I could buy a few adult costumes. I probably won't ever wear them, but I could have a few around for other people to borrow, just in case. So I bought four or five adult costumes, and I bought something called Big Headz, which is an inflatable ball with a cyclops printed on it, and that sits on top of your own head and black mesh covers your face, and you look taller.

So I am pretty happy with the stuff I bought. Now if I can just get it all packed away for now and then somehow be able to find it all later when I need it.
