Obviously, this is not something I need. I've already got the hoarding part done. It's the stop hoarding stuff that I need help with.

I've read stuff about hoarding, and how different people have different problems, different reasons for not wanting to get rid of stuff. In theory, if you figured out which particular problem is yours, it would help you figure out to stop doing whatever it is that you're doing.
I think that I have all of the problems, all at the same time.
Several years ago, I had this idea. I'm supposed to clean house and such four times a year, whether I want to or not. And I thought that this would be a good time to look at things, maybe get rid of things, like maybe get rid of a few items of clothing, or maybe take a few books to Half Price Books, or take a few other things to Goodwill....
And it's not like I never take any books to Half Price Books, and I do once in a while donate to Goodwill. It's just that I buy a lot more stuff from both of those places than stuff I take to those places.
Anyway, it is time to clean the house and put stuff in boxes and that sort of thing, and I'm thinking that it's probably been a whole year since I've tried to go through and get rid of anything. I should pick out a few things and ask you guys if I should get rid of them.
