I told you guys yesterday that today's Open Forum will be great. So here it goes: Today's topic is all about Stephen King. To be exact: What is the scariest thing that has happened to you in the aftermath of a Stephen King story? (is that epic or what). Wether it be staying up all night or nearly having a heart attack when the lights fell out.
I'll start off with my example.
A few months ago, right after reading It, I was cycling home. It was very busy and there were people everywhere. But then I went around a corner, and suddenly there were no people (none at all). I looked behind me to see if I could see someone, but no one was there . Then, I turned my head around and there was a balloon floating right in front of my head.
It doesn't sound all too scary, but I nearly had a heart attack.
Now, another thing. I was thinking of starting a weekly O-Deck tv show watching thing. I know there is one for anime, but this is a sc ifi site, so we could (maybe) add another one. I got the idea when I was at my local comic shop the other day. The owner told me about Under the Dome, a tv show (by Stephen King) about a city that is put under a dome. Apparently it is quite good and I think it would be perfect as a thing to watch. I'll do another post in a bit that's dedicated to this. But if you think it's a stupid idea (or an amazing one!) let me know.
So, What is the scariest thing that has happened to you in the aftermath of a Stephen King story?
