Rebecca Finally Gets "A Diagnosis" in Crazy Ex-Girlfriend

After last week’s tearjerker of an episode, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend took the time to slow down and show the impact of her suicide attempt not only on her, but her friends as well, in addition to finally giving Rebecca a diagnosis that was something other than anxiety and depression.

Rebecca, it turns out, has Borderline Personality Disorder. It’s actually quite amazing that Rachel Bloom and Aline Brosh McKenna didn’t have this diagnosis in mind from the very beginning of the show, because she displays all the symptoms in the very first episode. In any case, her ballad “A Diagnosis” is a pretty wonderful piece of music (and reminds me a lot of “Defying Gravity,” especially with those high notes).

The other song of the night belonged to Valencia, “This is My Movement.” Which, I have to point out, is a two minute long poop joke.

I love this show, you guys.
