Miscalibrated Internet Receptor Stalks

We’re all familiar with the concept of “that guy who was in that thing” - character actors (and actresses) that everybody recognizes on sight but can never remember the names of, if we ever knew them in the first place. And of course there’s the opposite “famous actor” effect - stars that are always themselves and never the characters they’re playing, like John Wayne and Tom Cruise. But I’ve recognized a third phenomenon while watching Stargate: Atlantis. Character Over-Identification.

I’m about halfway through the second season and so far all the following characters have shown up in Atlantis.
