Report A.807

  • Will Pugh is one half of the writing duo behind 2013’s The Stanley Parable, and with his fellow writer Davey Wreden having recently released his follow up game The Beginners Guide, it’s now Mr Pugh’s turn to move into new work with the announcement of his studio Crows Crows Crows and their imminent new titles.
  • So what’s this new game called? Well, I don’t know yet, because before we get to that Crows Crows Crows have something else for us...an ARG! (That’s an Alt Reality Game btw, I didn’t just get suddenly angry at the end of that sentence.)
  • Report A.807 presents you with the case files for a string of mysterious robberies throughout an alternate history version of Europe. The thefts cover an eclectic range of items from orchid bulbs to violins and even a locked box with unknown contents. It’s a small start, but there’s some fascinating world building under-way and a touch of surreal humour that anyone who played The Stanley Parable should find familiar.
  • There’s already a Reddit group chewing over the evidence and puzzles thus far if you needs help, or just want to share some thoughts and theories on the story so far.
