The Doctor Who: LOCKDOWN watch-a-longs have produced a ton of new material from the showrunners and writers (both current and former), as well as the actors, but none of them have ever hit me as much as this one: to mark the anniversary of the passing of Elisabeth Sladen (and as a companion to the watchalong of “The Stolen Earth”/“Journey’s End”), Russell T. Davies wrote a new story to cap off The Sarah Jane Adventures called “Farewell, Sarah Jane.”
It’s great. And it was great seeing all of the actors portray the characters again nine years later and hearing what the characters have been up to (Clyde apparently is a comic book artist, which makes sense). It’s also really sad, but in a happy way, if that makes sense.
So go watch it. What else are you going to do today?
