Who knew that there was such a thing? Did everybody have their own local area monster in the sixties? Did that used to be a thing?

So I found this book, and I had to buy it, right? Cause I would never find this book again.

That is the problem sometimes, that you find a weird thing and you have to buy it right then cause it will not be there later. It isn't like going to Sears and finding a new blender and then you can think about it for a few days (or weeks or months) and decide if you really need/want a new blender.

I am not even sure that I finished reading this book. I am pretty sure that I do not want to read it now.

I buy a lot of books. Buying books makes me feel better. I don't read as much as I used to, cause the old eye problems and then the newer eye problems of getting old are a pain to deal with at the same time. But I still like books, I've just mainly switched from buying stuff like novels to buying stuff with pictures. I buy a lot of cookbooks. I don't even cook most of the recipes, but if I look at the pictures long enough it will make me get off my ass and cook something.

I think the goal for today will be to fill a box with books to take to the Half Price Books store later.

Do many other people have this thing with buying books?

And the Lake Monster book needs to go, right? It's not even in good shape.
