Here's video of him recovering

Had some work I needed to do today. Namely cleaning out debris from the window wells so the basement doesn't flood from hard rain. Go to get the trashcan I keep outside to sift dirt into. Notice it's been knocked on it's side from upside down. Turns out it collected water and what I thought was a dead chipmunk.

Nope. Little guy moved and I dumped the water out. He was a mess that barely moved (exactly as you'd imagine what a drowned rat would look like). Put him on some old corduroy pants with some pistachios and peanuts and a water dish inside of the trashcan (it's a small-ish indoor type) underneath a bench facing the sun so he could dry off/warm up. So far he's looking better than he did an hour ago.

I fucked up and left a perfect small animal trap, so it is my responsibility to take care of him. Anyone think I should possibly drop him off at some sort of wild animal rescue?
