Miscalibrated Internet Receptor Stalks

Sometimes you just notice these things

Is it just me, am I just hearing things, or does Tweedy's new song "Low Key" sound a lot like Todd Rundgren's "I Saw The Light," but in a lower key?

Maybe I've Misunderstood, maybe I'm Far Far Away on this one. It could be just Wishful Thinking, or maybe all I need is A Shot In The Arm. But it's the rhythm, the guitars are almost the same, and both songs are even punctuated by a a simlar glissando, but one's vocal and the other's instrumental.

Since his Wilco days and before that Uncle Tupelo, Jeff Tweedy has been interested in paying respect and homage to the rock music of the later 1960's, and 1970's. Maybe this is just a continuation of that project. You Never Know, and I'm okay with it either way.
