Okay it isn't a New Years Resolution exactly but back in November I decided to quit soda cold turkey. I used to drink it a ton (I am an athlete who is terrible at nutrition) and I decided that was best way about going about it. It actually worked really well and after a month I feel I succesfully conquered my urge to soda. A nice side effect is I eat a lot less candy too since sour candy is best with soda. But then I got stuck working overnight tonight and after a long tiring day I have not slept any to prepare for it so I turn to my old friends Dr Pepper and candy to help me out. I see it as a New Years celebration one time thing but hopefully it won't make it hard to go back to cold turkey tomorrow.
Have you ever had some big failures at resolutions? Do you bother? Do you have any for 2014?
