Happy 2016, ODeck! A few people have started to post their various faves of 2015, and I’d like to join the crowd with my Year in Reading: 2015. I did the same thing for my reading in 2014, which also included some reading goals for 2015.
Twenty-Fifteen’s finally done,
Right now I am reading two comics as they come out- Prez and 8house- and both have hit the point in the TPB where the greatness typically reveals itself. Are they there yet?
Well, I just went to see a comic book movie starring a largely unknown female protagonist that beautifully and unflinchingly documents a teenager’s monumentally fucked up coming-of-age story, without being judgmental about it. It is called The Diary of a Teenage Girl and it is a triumph of art over edifice.
The first POTUS elected via Twitter is a 19 year old girl. But is she strong enough to shake up a world already conglomerated by Smiley Enterprises? #HELLYES
ARE YOU EXCITED ABOUT 2015 YET??
2015 is supposed to be a cram packed year for films, even with the delays of some like Warcraft and Batman v. Superman. Now whether or not any of them will be any good will be up to everyones personal tastes and there are some to be incrediably hopeful about.
