Charlie Jane Anders has a new short story “The Minnesota Diet” posted over on Slate. As she puts it, she “wrote about a high-tech city that’s hit by severe food shortages. Because I really don’t think you can think about the future without thinking about hunger.”
CJA has a new post up over at Tor.com, “Growing Up, Wonder Woman Was the Hero I Really Wanted To Be.” If her posts were one of the things that you enjoyed about io9 then this is worth the read.
So recently, my favorite sc-fi blog did an announcement about a new sci-fi show... The whole article was a junior-high school-level snark-fest about how the show’s title was similar to another show’s title. No big deal, just a throw-away little article like on so very many other similar blogs...
Spoilers for the latest Game of Thrones episode and potentially the upcoming season after the jump.
CJA announced on Twitter that she’s stepping down as editor of io9 to work on her next novel and that Rob Bricken is taking over.
To that end, I have just purchased Charlie Jane's novel, Six Months, Three Days.
Dear Ms. Anders,
