Over the past several months I've been casually watching through the Tales from the Darkside anthology series created by George Romero, as well as the first Twilight Zone revival, both from the mid-eighties. I'm excited to learn that not only are there plans to reboot the first of the two, but it will include Joe Hill as a creative force. Via Daily Dead:

Deadline reports that an hour-long Tales From the Darkside pilot has been ordered by The CW for their 2015–'16 schedule. The reimagining of Tales From the Darkside was penned by Joe Hill (Horns, NOS4A2, Locke & Key), who will executive produce the project along with Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci, Heather Kadin, Mitch Galin, and Jerry Golod.

For those that don't know, at least a couple of the original Tales from the Darkside episodes were based on Stephen King stories, one of them being "Word Processor of the Gods".
