Miscalibrated Internet Receptor Stalks

American geographer Alexandr Trubetskoy took to reddit with the following map showing an alternate Canada in which every proposed province became one. Including the provinces of Vermont, Toronto, Bahamas, and Vancouver Island.

Writes Alexandr:

Included is every new province proposal since the late 19th century that gained any significant political support. Excluded is the rest of the United States (besides Maine, Vermont and the Northeast Angle), because those proposals were satirical.

He went as far as to create a sortable database of population, area, GDP, and other statistics for this alt-Canada.

It's rare we get to see what-ifs about Canada, so I'd love for you to post any you're aware of in the comments.
