The Broken-Down House on Being Human is worth 601,600$

There are lots of reasons to enjoy Being Human, but having the show shoot in downtown Montreal next to where I live and work makes it even more fun.

The house the show uses for external shots is located at 3638 Rue Durocher, near McGills university, in the expensive “Mont Royal Plateau” region, is estimated to have been built in 1885, and has six apartments.

The Montreal City evaluation lists the lot as being worth 274,900$ and the building, 326,700$, for a total of 601,600$. It lists the lot as being 6 meters wide, and 1900 square feet.

Bonus: a group of fans visited its copy in the studio
