So this is the initial second of animation for the commercial.

At 30 frames a second, it takes a metric shit-TON of frames to get a thirty second commercial. Mind, this is just an initial pass; the textures, backgrounds, and colors haven't been added yet. So far it represents a single hours' worth of work, just for some perspective. 30 frames a second, for thirty seconds, is 900 frames. Might not seem like much, but remember: those are all hand-drawn. The vehicle stuff is the easiest; most of that is rendered in 3d programs. It's the character animation that is the bitch to deal with. More to come!
