With March comes Madness. In previous months we’ve crowned the greatest holiday classic, fought a battle between felids and canids, and crowned the greatest stage musical of all time. This time around we are going full sci-fi by trying to decide which is the coolest fictional spaceship of all time.

Yep, this time around we’re going to decide which is the coolest spaceship of them all. 64 of the greatest spaceships to grace science fiction have been chosen. It wasn’t easy making the list, and it was even harder to rank them. And I’m sure there are going to be many disagreements with what went where. But this is what you’ve got to choose from.

The creation of the bracket was the result of many users on Twitter compiling a list of their favorite spaceships. After whittling down the various Star Trek and Star Wars submissions to prevent it from just being one versus the other, we had almost exactly the 64 we needed. After much debate, a ranking was devised, and we had our bracket.

Voting Criteria

The criteria for voting is entirely up to you. The title of the bracket is Coolest Spaceship, but it could just as easily be Greatest or Favorite. You’re the voter so it’s entirely up to you how you decide to interpret it. You can’t vote wrong. And if you need some extra info, there are links included with each ship to their individual wiki pages.
