Miscalibrated Internet Receptor Stalks

The Pokemon Company really seems to be stepping up its game

The Pokemon anime is now available from multiple streaming sites and digital services, we're getting a Pokemon orchestral concert starting here in August, and now it seems that they're re-launching pokemoncenter.com come August 6th.

Pokemoncenter.com was basically the place to go to get all manner of Pokemon merchandise that you just could not find in stores, everything from plushes, toys, notebooks, clothes, cards, games, etc. If it had Pokemon on it, it could probably be found there. Sadly, the site was closed down on January 31st, 2008.

A few weeks ago, however, the official Pokemon Company twitter account sent out a number of private messages to twitter followers promising to send a "sneak peak" to them in the mail.

The "sneak peak" ended up being a box of Pokemon merchandise containing an announcement from The Pokemon Company president Tsunekazu Ishihara, announcing the site's re-opening.

... I'm going to be soooo broke come August. Seriously you guys.
