The Simpson's Lego episode actually looks pretty cool

Brick Like Me, The show's 550th episode, will be an all-CGI event delving into the parallel life of a Homer Simpson from a Springfield constructed out of Lego. And it looks rather fun in this new trailer!

The collaboration with the LEGO group, announced earlier this year with the release of 742 Evergreen Terrace as a lego set, and this weekend's official release of a wave of collectable Simpsons Minifigures, crosses over to the show itself this Sunday, May 4th. The lego-ified Simpsons characters look really cool - a distinctly different style to the 3D-moulded minifigures we're actually getting in reality - retaining their 2D-animated facial features over a more typical Lego head.

I've not watched The Simpsons in years - but considering I feverishly ordered a bunch of the minifigures when they cropped up in the Lego Shop this morning, Lego addict that I am, I might actually tune in to this one (whenever it shows up in the UK, that is. God, who even shows The Simpsons over here any more? It's been so long!).
