Hayao Miyazaki's last feature film, Kaze Tachinu will be shown in Los Angeles and New York for a limited engagement in Nov. 8-14. I would like to go see it, and I know some of you might. If we miss it, there will be a wider release in February next year.

The movie has stirred up quite a bit of controversy already, as the main focus of the story is on a designer of war planes, but Hayao Miyazaki is known as a staunch pacifist, and I'm sure that glorifying war and militarism is the last thing the film will do.
