Cig and George’s wasteland warrior. Nothing says “attitude” like a burned character with a smoke dangling from their mouth.

This week’s Face Off has the teams creating drivers for Mad Max style tricked-out vehicles. It is an elimination challenge this week so six teams enter the Thunderdome. But which team won’t exit? Results ahead.

The All-Stars are waiting out in the middle of nowhere when McKenzie Westmore drives up in a Hyundai (one of the show’s sponsors who are also providing a car as part of the season winner’s prize package) to introduce the challenge. This week each team selects a post-apocalyptic wasteland vehicle and creates a driver for it incorporating vehicle parts into the design.

Paul W.S. Anderson (the Resident Evil movies and the Death Race reboot) drops by to be a guest judge this week.

Emily and Tyler continue their Top Look streak though their design doesn’t quite fit the wasteland warrior theme of the challenge.

Ben and Evan create a burned character complete with mask that makes them a Top Look after being a Bottom Look last week.

Cig and George also have a burned character. The judges are impressed by everything about the character and they win their second challenge.

I was underwhelmed by the rest of the designs by Keaghlan & Melissa (top), Logan & Adam (middle) and Rachael & Gage (bottom). They are all Bottom Looks but they catch a break. The bottom teams are given an additional hour of time to fix their designs incorporating feedback from the judges. We won’t find out who survives the Thunderdome until next week...

McKenzie Westmore’s looks for the Spotlight Challenge introduction (along with the strategically placed Hyundai) and at the reveal stage with guest judge Paul W.S. Anderson.
