My buddy and I are trying to adapt the Elder Scrolls video game series to a tabletop RPG setting.
He's handling the game mechanics, I'm handling the lore, since I'm a complete and utter lore geek with the series.
When the MMO was announced, I remember seeing it and rolling my eyes. "The Elder Scrolls isn't suited for an MMO," I said, "It works better as a single player experience. Heck, at the most you'd probably only want to have four or five players at a time for any one given story."
...And then I realized that you could TOTALLY make the Elder Scrolls into a tabletop RPG (which, if memory serves, was how the series came to be in the first place)!
Anyone interested in hearing more about this as it develops?
Pic is totally unrelated, but inspired the original idea.
