I'm not going to discuss plot points, because this just came out yesterday (yes, I know, I read really fast—especially when something is good), but holy crap you guys gotta read this.

Stephen King at the top of his game, folks. Scary, funny, touching and satisfying—all of his good stuff is right here. And so many references and connections! Not just to his own works, but to Joe's as well. And speaking of which—their shared story writing may have rubbed off a little bit; I detected a bit of Joe's DNA in this one. It almost reads like a companion piece to NOS4A2.

Anyway, I'm happy to discuss it more once people have read it. I just wanted to jump on here and give my opinion; I know people were leery of an actual sequel to The Shining. But Uncle Stevie has done Danny Torrance proud.
