Miscalibrated Internet Receptor Stalks

Last night’s episode of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend had a plethora of plot, but it also managed to include not one, but TWO absolutely wonderful musical numbers.

The second musical number (seen above), “Cold Showers Lead to Crack,” is an awesome take on one of the best musicals ever, The Music Man, and it’s most famous musical number, “(Ya Got) Trouble.” This time, Rebecca Bunch is acting as Harold Hill, persuading the residents of Josh’s apartment building to sue their landlord about having no hot water — because cold showers lead to their children being on cocaine, of course.

But before that song, there was another delightful musical number, this time a pastiche of Shakira’s “Whenever, Wherever.” It was called “Group Hang” and it really does catch that feeling of “Oh god what the hell is this kind of food?” you get from Cali-mex-talian places:

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend airs on Mondays at 8 PM on the CW. Now that The X-Files is over, watch it. Please. (You can DVR Supergirl.)
