Miscalibrated Internet Receptor Stalks

Yes, Gizmodo’s already covered the fantastic new LEGO Ghostbusters Firehouse in an earlier article. But you really can’t appreciate the scale of the thing and the sheer level of detail involved until you’ve seen the edifice come together before your very eyes.

BrickBuilder, whose YouTube channel of LEGO speedbuilding videos I find strangely soothing and therapeutic, has documented their assembly of the 4,634 piece, three-level set in a video that runs slightly over thirty minutes (so get some snacks). It really makes you appreciate the level of effort that went into designing the Firehouse (to say nothing of the labor and time you’ll need to put the whole thing together). And yes, the garage is large enough to accomodate the already-released ECTO-1.

The Firehouse set releases on January 1 and retails for $350.
