Two kayakers (a father and daughter) exploring the waters off the coast of Puerto Madryn in Argentina got a surprise when the whales they were watching came in for a closer look. It's unclear as to what kind of whales these were, although they were definitely baleen whales. Southern Right Whales are commonly sighted in those waters. One of the whales decided to lift the two-person kayak right out of the water, holding them there for a time before gently lowering them and swimming away.

In related news, whales are much, much bigger than people, even people in kayaks.
