I know this is usually a Friday thing, but I was on call Thursday, Friday and tomorrow so I am posting it tonight.

I had a nice Martini with Death's a Door gin


I like them very dry. 9:1 which translates to 3 oz gin, 2 tsp vermouth. And the secret ingredient, 1 drop of orange bitters. (Don't tell)
I use basic dry vermouth like Martini & Rossi. I am open to suggestions if anybody knows of a really good dry vermouth. Like a Vya or Carpano Antica Formula equivalent. I haven't been able to find a dry vermouth like that.

3 olives hand stuffed by me with Maytag blue cheese.

I tell people I only have the Martini for the blue cheese stuffed olives. They don't believe me, but it is true.
