I should have done this last week when we had Strawberry Mint Juleps in honor of spring and the Kentucky Derby. But those horses are out of the barn.
So tonight we had Martinis because...because...because Martinis don’t need no reason!
I used Death’s Door gin, because the best gin comes from Wisconsin winter wheat.
And Vya Extra Dry vermouth. Because life is too short to drink bad vermouth.
(You weren’t expecting landscaped vermouth. Admit it.)
Along with a drop of Bittercube orange bitters.
And olives I stuffed myself with Papillon Roquefort. because nobody ever expects the butterfly!
