Hot weather calls for cold drinks. I made daiquiris.

I used Real McCoy rum

An aged silver rum? Apparently, they age it in oak, then charcoal filter it to get rid of the color. Seems like a gimmick and seems like it would remove some of the flavor too, but it tastes fine.

Then I made Seared Tuna Nicoise salad.

And served it with Averaen 2015 Pinot Noir.

It all turned out really well.

How about the rest of you?
