“That is the main power of the movie, that we can be close to them,” says director Kornél Mundruczó, “We watch their eyes very closely… all of the 200. Then we have a lot of empathy coming up, and they have the morals.
“And that’s why I don’t want to create CGI, because CGI is created by humans, and I don’t need that power.”
Mundruczó also insisted on a mixed breed dog for the lead.
