Why You Should All Come to Toronto RIGHT NOW

It's called a Christmas Market and it is gorgeous.

It takes place in the historic Distillery District, where all the booze used to be made! Well, specifically, all the whisky, but the the cobblestones are legit!

What's a Christmas Market?

A Christmas market is a street market which celebrates the traditional sights, sounds and scents of Christmas and is staged during the weeks leading up to Christmas. These markets originated in Germany, beginning in the early 1400's, and are now being held in countries all over the world.

There's carolers and Christmas Trees and lights and delicious snacks and cobblestones and cute alleyways and beer gardens and fire pits for warmth and carousels and booze!

And the Distillery District is just a beautiful place. I kept expecting some Dickensian street urchin to pick-pocket me!

I won't lie, we went and what appeared to be the COLDEST NIGHT EVER but it was just so happy-making!
