Wizard World Chicago, Day 2 (and Day 1 overview)

Yes, I know I didn’t make a Day 1 post. Sorry. Pretty much all I did Day 1 was make it around through most of the first room. Got stuck talking to a few artists here and there. Spent the last 30 minutes (if not more) talking to one amazing artist that I bought some stuff from. Only bought about four things Day 1. I wore my Carmen Sandiego shirt and got so many compliments on it.

Day 2...oh boy.

Wore my Catbus Bus Stop shirt and once again, got a ton of compliments!

Finally made it through EVERYTHING! Bought about 11 things today. Got to meet Pere Pérez, whom did some pencil and inking on Stephanie Brown’s Batgirl! Easily one of the highlights of the show was pulling the comic (Batgirl #24) out I wanted him to sign and seeing he amused smirk. I could tell he really enjoyed that comic, and that made it all the better!

Having not stopped to take any photos of cosplayers on Day 1, partly because of shyness, and partly because of time constraints (ONLY FIVE HOURS). But Day 2 I took around 120 photos. Not sure if I should share them yet or wait till the end of Day 4.

Day 3 is going to be spent mostly in a program room if I can get in. Going to be sitting through the Vampire Diaries panel with Ian Somerhalder and Stephen Amell’s panel (Arrow/TMNT 2) so that I can see the Supergirl pilot!

Speaking of....

I’ve been to a few booths selling a lot of bootleg DVDs, which I’m already confused about. But what confuses me more is that these booths all have a DVD of the Supergirl pilot.

Anyways, I should get to bed, tomorrow is going to be a long ass day!
