Miscalibrated Internet Receptor Stalks
Miscalibrated Internet Receptor Stalks

How is this O-Deck related, you ask? Considering that this, um, "climactic" scene is by far the most scientific snippet of fiction that I've read this week, I think it's worth a share.

To summarize from the article, the 21st annual Bad Sex in Fiction Award was presented to Manil Suri for his novel The City of Devi. Below is the passage that won him this presigious honor:

Surely supernovas explode that instant, somewhere, in some galaxy. The hut vanishes, and with it the sea and the sands – only Karun's body, locked with mine, remains. We streak like superheroes past suns and solar systems, we dive through shoals of quarks and atomic nuclei. In celebration of her breakthrough fourth star, statisticians the world over rejoice.

From this point forward, I want every single porno to end with statisticians the world over rejoicing.
