Would You Watch A DC Film With A More High Fantasy Tone?

The recent reveal of the Batman v Superman teaser and the first image of the Suicide Squad’s Joker left many fans annoyed and wanting to fix the DC cinematic universe. Though I have nothing against either of them, I would like to make a suggestion for either a future project or an animated feature, how about going for a more high fantasy tone?

Now I don’t mean set in a medieval fantasy world, but using many of the tropes and ideas common to fantasy and a tone similar to that found in Dragonlance or the Inheritance trilogy. Very similar to how many other works have done so before like Shadowrun, Final Fantasy and Warhammer 40,000.

For example, have the seven members of the Justice League represent a common class in fantasy or rpgs:

Warrior = Wonder Woman (Diana Prince)
Rogue = Huntress (Helena Bertinelli)
Mage = Zatanna (Zatanna Zatara)
Cleric = Doctor Mid-Nite (Charles McNider)
Paladin = Superman (Clark Kent/Kal-El)
Ranger = Batman (“Bruce Wayne”)
Bard = Flash (Jesse Quick)

Not only would it be a great way to differentiate DC works from Marvels, going for fantasy adventure then Sci-Fi action. But DC already has a great world rich for such a tone, with godly beings, magic being abundant and many heroes and villains drenched in mythology like Morrigan, Hawkgirl, Aquaman, Dr Fate, Vandal Savage and essentially most of Wonder Woman’s mythos.
