In the early 1980s, there was only one place where teenagers could learn how to shoot lasers out of their eyes and program Apple IIes — Professor Xavier’s School For Gifted Youngsters! This retro ad for X-Men: Apocalypse doesn’t feel entirely legit — I don’t remember kids who weren’t skaters saying “rad” back in 1983 — but it does a pretty good job of recreating the cheesy commercials of the era.

Oh and apparently if you dial the toll-free number at the end, you get a voicemail from Stan Lee. Excellent! — I mean, Excelsior!
