Inside No. 9 is an anthology series of darkly comic stories written by and starring Reece Shearsmith and Steve Pemberton (i.e. the members of the League of Gentlemen who aren't Mark Gatiss). If you've seen their previous work, the aforementioned LoG and Psychoville being the most prominent, you'll know their style - on the gruesome and strange end of the comedy spectrum. This differs in that instead of a continuing storyline there's a different cast and story each week, each taking place inside a house number 9. Less surreal than other stuff they've written, but just as creepy, and all with a dark twist.

Shearsmith and Pemberton are the only fixture, with the supporting cast changing each week and featuring some great names. Gemma Arterton, Tamsin Greig, Conleth Hill, Katherine Parkinson, Julian Rhind-Tutt, Anna Chancellor, Oona Chaplin, Denis Lawson, etc.

It's on Wednesdays on BBC2, and if you can't get that, keep an eye on BBC America to see if it gets aired there. I heard Psychoville did so maybe this will too.
