These lynx triplets were born at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, to an unusual mated pair called Magina and Kajika, who were brought to the zoo six years ago as kittens and grew up together. In the wild, male and female lynxes only come together to mate, and then part ways. The female lynx raises the kittens alone, and male lynxes are typically aggressive toward kittens whether they're his or not. But the bond between Magina and Kajika seems to be special, and while their interactions since the birth have been carefully managed and supervised, zookeepers may let the family stay all together if the introduction of Kajika to his kittens continues to go positively.
